Cookie policy

What cookies do
Cookies are small text files your browser stores to remember state. Yono game uses cookies only for the categories you accept.
Local storage, session storage and similar browser-only storage objects are treated the same way for the purposes of this policy: each is set only after you interact with the Cookie Settings panel, never before, and never outside the categories you have chosen.
Categories
Strictly necessary cookies always run. They are needed for navigation, form submission and security. Analytics, marketing and preferences cookies are optional and off by default.
The strictly necessary group covers the session cookie that holds the support-ticket id and access key while the live support widget is open, the cookie-choice record that remembers whether you opted in to the optional categories, and the security cookie that prevents cross-site request forgery on the contact form. None of these store personal data beyond the session token.
The analytics group, when enabled, records anonymised page-view aggregates using a first-party measurement path. The marketing group, when enabled, records the visit to the verified install handler so the catalogue can measure install reach across the eight studios. The preferences group, when enabled, remembers the active provider tab and search field on /apps/ and the saved cookie choice so the panel does not re-open on every visit.
How to change your choice
Open the Cookie Settings button at the bottom of every page. You can accept all, reject optional or save a custom choice. The choice is stored in local storage and persists across sessions.
Each toggle in the panel shows the current state and the data-cookie-key that the choice controls. Saving the panel writes the choice to yg8_cookies in local storage; the next page load reads the same key and applies it before the body becomes interactive.
Withdrawal
You can withdraw consent as easily as you accept it: open Cookie Settings again, change your choice and save. The next page load will respect the new choice.
If you clear your browser storage entirely - for example by clearing site data, switching browser, or using a private window - the choice resets to its default (strictly necessary only). The panel will reappear with the toggles in their off-state so a fresh, explicit choice can be made.
